Open RAN is one of the major technology evolutions in the communication industry, affecting the whole communication eco system from chipset, research & universities, network function providers / NEMS, system integrators, ISVs to mobile network and tower operators. 
Keysight is looking for an experience Solutions Sales specialist to drive further business growth in this rapidly evolving technology domain. 

Success in this role requires close teamwork with Sales partners, Sales Managers, Applications Engineers, and Business Development Engineers to qualify and prioritize opportunities. A key skill is the ability to lead internal teams to manage deals involving multiple divisions and support organizations.

 

Key responsibilities and deliverables across the sales cycle include:

 

  • Exceeding sales metrics by increasing revenue spend for O-RAN solutions
  • Executes customer engagements and drives opportunity plan
  • Presents “Keysight in O-RAN” solution portfolio and positions global O-RAN success stories
  • Considers and positions multiple solution delivery options (Capex plus services, managed services, TaaS) to guarantee customer success - the heart of our Keysight Leadership Model (KLM)
  • Owns and manages the end to end sales process in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Building a strong sales funnel that shows consistent growth with a steady flow of sales resulting from it

 

Alongside the responsibilities listed above you will be expected to:

  • Follow Open RAN market trends and eco system partnerships
  • Understand Open RAN business domain and application areas

Job Qualifications

  • Ideally 5 - 10+  years’ experience in sales, with a strong understanding of wireless communication / network infrastructure
  • Ideally background / experience with physical and virtual network architectures and infrastructure vendors; experience in selling complex technical solutions 
  • Strong business hunting skills and business acumen; drives a deal per value prop and business case
  • Ability to utilize business and market insights expertise to identify and pursue opportunities
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers at both engineering and senior management level
  • Fluent English with strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills
  • Self-motivating with high energy, drive, determination and an ability to work independently while maintaining a strong communication path with colleagues and customers.
  • University Degree in computer science (preferred) / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
