Job Description

 We are looking for a technical support engineer who can provide support on our wireless network test products for end users and distributors. Achieves customer satisfaction and supports metric goals. Applies Hardware and TCP/IP Networking skills to resolve technical problems.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provides expert level telephone/email/WebEx support to Ixia customers including onsite support once or twice a month.
  • Assists customers with operation and configuration of Ixia hardware and software, with an emphasis on wireless 3G/4G protocols
  • Providing effective resolution to customer issues (troubleshooting and problem reproduction) and guidance to closure
  • Interfaces with Development and Product Management on product design and supportability.
  • Achieves customer satisfaction and supports metric goals
  • Travel as needed to US and EMEA as required for training and business meetings

Education/ Experience:

  • BS or MS in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years of IT/Networking/Telecommunications experience
  • Familiarity with 3G/4G protocol and related knowledge to build mobile network.
  • Having experience for test and configuration RAN and EPC (SGW, PGW, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge in deploying VM (Virtual Machine) platforms like VMware, KVM, Open stack etc.
  • CCNA, CCIE certifications is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively
  • Self-motivated; highly enthusiastic team player with strong analytical skills

  • 主にWirelessネットワークテスト製品のソフトウェア・ハードウェアに関する操作、設定支援、トラブルシューティングを行いお客様の問題を迅速に解決
  • 海外のエンジニアとの連携(専用のツール、メール、電話、チャットなどで不具合の調査依頼や報告を行う)
  • 顧客満足度の向上への取り組み



  • 大卒以上
  • IT/ネットワーク/通信業界おいて5年以上の業務経験
  • カスタマーサポートの経験もしくは今後カスタマーサポートとして成長したい意欲があること
  • ネットワークの全般知識(CCNACCIE資格取得済みであれば尚良い)があること
  • モバイルネットワークを構築するための3G / 4Gプロトコルおよび関連知識に精通している事


  • RANおよびEPC(SGW、PGWなど)のテストや設定の経験がある事
  • VMwareKVMOpenStackなどのVM(仮想マシン)プラットフォームの設定/導入に関する知識を有する事
  • 英語力(TOEIC700点以上またはビジネスでの使用経験)
  • 向上心がありチームワークを意識した行動ができること
