Job Description

  • Be accountable for the delivery of financial statements and reporting under USGAAP and IFRS as well as Local statutory rules in a compliant way for assigned entities.
  • Be a mix of individual contributor and people manager role.  Is capable of thinking strategically, while managing a financial operation fairly hands-on, as required, balancing the local interests with those of the corporation.
  • Support the country controller to coordinate and execute country/entity implementation of Global initiative and standards having linkages to financial reporting.  
  • Partner closely with various compliance functions and business groups for ensuring LGAAP reporting incl. keeping oversight on entity-level compliance framework and effective relationship management with statutory auditors and legal authorities etc., apart from internal stakeholders.
  • Manage in-country Treasury support and foreign exchange settlement operations
  • Assist country controller on financial compliance management including early identification, tracking and resolution.   

This position requires an experienced finance professional having worked in corporate finance, reporting or having led audit engagements of reasonably large companies, Strong knowledge of accounting standards including    IFRS equivalent standards and ability to work across MS office applications and brings a wealth of on-ground experience doing things on own when required. The candidate should have fluent verbal and written English communication skills. Project Management skills and working in a multi-national company will be added advantage.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus typically 8+ years of working experience in corporate finance, reporting or having led audit engagements of reasonably large companies
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards including IFRS equivalent standards
  • Ability to work across MS office application and brings a wealth of on-ground experiences doing thing on own when required.
    Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people and cultures.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • CPA is preferred
  • Project Management skills and working in a multi-national company will be added advantage
  • Prior People management experience is preferred
  • Uncompromised integrity is essential
