Job Description

Keysight Technologies is the leading test and measurement company in the world.  The High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) develops and manufactures state of the art semiconductor and packaging technologies that provide Keysight Test and Measurement products with a competitive advantage in performance and cost.

As an Intern, you will apply your knowledge and skill acquired from coursework and research to helping develop the next generation of architecture and heterogeneous integration of Keysight compound semiconductor IC’s.  Process development efforts will focus on processes like metal plating, metal and dielectric CMP, lithography, ILD dry etching, etc. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's industry, infrastructure and products in your assignment.  This is developing real world experience in a company that is a leader in the markets it serves. 


This is a longer-term internship with a minimum 6-month engagement.

Job Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar field.
  • Experience with advanced microelectronics processes is essential. 
  • Experience with electrical test, materials characterization and device modeling software is highly desired. 
  • Specific skills in III-V device physics and processing are desirable.
  • Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter-group and intra-group interactions.
  • Must be highly motivated to accomplish all the tasks required to meet aggressive product development schedules and world class manufacturing expectations.


Keysight Internship Program Requirements

You must have completed your first year in an accredited college/university and be currently enrolled as of September 2023. Applicants who have graduated before September 2023 will not be considered.


US Citizenship/Permanent Residence status is required we are not able to provide sponsorship at this time.
