Job Qualifications


•    New college grad with Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
•    Experience in an Engineering field (or Master’s Degree)
•    The ability to work in fast-pace, multi-disciplined, cross-department environment
•    Demonstrated in-depth interest in optics principals, optical signal measurements 
•    Sound engineering skills (troubleshooting, root-cause-analysis, soldering, Test Equipment usage)
•    Demonstrated long-term interest in two or more of the disciplines listed below. 

- Test and Measurement instrumentation usage (Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc.)

- The ability to create design specifications for optical components such as photo detectors, lens, fiber optic connectors, optical cable assemblies and Optical to Electrical converters.
- The ability to work with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to design, build and validate optical components and systems as well as auto align stations for proto and production qualification.
- The ability to design, analyze and realize high-speed digital circuits on a PC board, including the use of Optical to Electrical converters, Analog-to-Digital converters, physical memory components, and interface ICs.


•    Demonstrated skill in optical system design, optics principals, optical communication signal measurements, and/or optical design software tools
•    Understanding of Test and Measurement equipment
•    Examples of proficiency in high frequency circuit design
•    Knowledge of computer communication protocols and associated HW interfaces (such as PCIe, USB, drivers, microcontroller implementing such interfaces, PHY-layer devices, etc.)
•    Experience with embedded software programming, as demonstrated by developing and debugging code that controls hardware directly. Examples could include FPGA code development environments or C#/C++ HW control programming.
•    Experience with whole product lifecycle (proof of concept, design, prototype, verification, qualification, release)
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to work with a diverse global team from many cultures
