About the Job:

Craft on-wafer microwave and millimeter wave measurements for Keysight’s own III-V integrated circuits. Test development spans exploratory R&D design validation of cutting-edge MMICs and automated small volume test of integrated circuits designed and manufactured in-house.

About the Team:

Our team, part of Keysight Laboratories’ High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC), builds and supports hardware and software solutions that electrically test integrated circuits made in Keysight’s Santa Rosa wafer fabrication facility. HFTC’s ability to rapidly innovate and deliver the world’s best high frequency technology provides fundamental differentiation for electronic measurement products.


Elicit test requirements from designers
Advise on and select test equipment and measurement algorithms
Design and develop RF and DC test plans
Test and validate circuits and test plans
Iteratively improve and optimize
Investigate and resolve issues

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field with 1-2 years of relevant experience (job, internship, or equivalent) or an MS / PhD in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field. 
Comprehensive understanding of microwave measurements. 
Experience using electrical test instrumentation.
Ability and desire to work on rapidly paced projects with several design tasks.
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

3-5 years related work experience.
Experience with or interest in:
•    On-wafer electrical test and microwave calibration
•    Testing and troubleshooting RF, analog, and digital circuits
•    Analog circuit design and analysis 
•    Software development
•    Automating electrical test
•    Semiconductor device physics
•    Statistical analysis and process improvement
•    C#, .NET, and Visual Studio
•    Printed circuit board (PCB) layout
•    Mechanical design CAD
