Job Description

This Production Engineering position will support a manufacturing group in new product introduction, existing product / process support, and customer support for a line of HeNe laser products. 

Working as a member of the Production Engineering Team, each individual is responsible for a set product category within an inteferometry system.  This position will cover laser control electronics, the purpose of which are to use optical feedback to enable the stable operation of a HeNe laser tube.


This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic skills as well as some experimental design/setup and analysis involving both electrical and optical measurements while altering environmental parameters.


Standard Production Engineering duties expected of this position include process documentation, originating and/or reviewing engineering change requests, resolving internal and external quality issues, maintaining and improving Production Test Tools.

Job Qualifications


- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience

- Practical applications of circuit theory

- Hands-on experience with standard test/measurement equipment

- Must have some programming experience with legacy programming languages such as C, C++, Tcl/TK

- Experience with remote intstrument interfacing and remote data collection

- Practical application of Statistical Process Controls

- MS Office applications Excel, Word
