Business Development Manager – Cloud Solution Team
At Keysight, we have a solution team focused on growing business in public cloud segment. This cloud solution team consists of business development, product management, solution architect/engineering and marketing. Our goal is to help our customers succeed and sustain substantial growth. As a leader in test and measurement technologies, Keysight owns domain expertise in 5G, cloud networking, photonic, RF/microwave, security and IOT. We believe our solutions and intellectual properties can greatly compliment the innovation and advancement in public cloud.

 

As a business development manager, you will have the opportunity to work with top cloud companies and identify how Keysight can provide valuable services.

Responsibilities:
•    Develop a network of relationship with visionary and influential customers
•    Position and communicate new product introduction (NPI) or new concept introduction (NCI) to target customers
•    Accountable for the success of NPI in public cloud segment
•    Partner with solution architect/engineering to develop NCI that can eventually generate new revenue. Accountable for the success rate of NCI.
•    Team up with Keysight sales to develop long term account and business strategy. Directly drive long term sales opportunities as needed. Accountable for the overall revenue growth in public cloud segment.
 

Job Qualifications


•    3 years public cloud industry experience
•    Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
•    Experience with sales process and account management
•    Ability to work successfully in a dynamic environment, both independently and on a global distributed organization
•    Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science

Preferred Qualification:
•    Good understanding of designing and operating data center based on various technologies, including L2/L3, multi-tier IP CLOS, BGP/ECMP, LACP and MLAG. Understand the challenges and mechanics of maintaining hyper scale data centers.
•    Good understanding of AWS, GCP and Azure cloud services and virtual private networking
•    Good understanding of compute and network virtualization, including VMware, KVM, HyperV, NSX-T, VXLAN, and EVPN
•    Good understanding of server and storage technology and operation, including NVMe/RoCE, smart NIC, and serverless computing
•    Good understanding of application development and overall dev/test/op workflow in public cloud
•    Must be able to analyze and resolve technical problems of significant complexity. 

This position will be based in the Seattle, WA area.
