Job Description

Every second, we are connecting thousands of test systems in electronics manufacturing factories all over the globe and delivering actionable insights for customers to improve their product quality and save money doing it. The start-up big data advanced analytics business has seen tremendous triple digit growth yearly through pure innovation to deliver true customer outcomes. As such the Software Solutions Team are in need of a fearless and passionate Business Development Manager to be the engine that enables, accelerate and powers significant subscriptions growth for our big data analytics software portfolio. The incumbent will be the subject matter expert in our portfolio in addition to have ownership for field enablement, customer engagements and funnel management and forecasting.

  • Guru: Be the go-to person to represent the value differentiation, positioning and ROI justification.
  • Trusted: Support the sales team as the customer consultant during pre-sales engagements. Gain rapport and credibility as someone who leads the conversations.
  • Visible: Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to market, launch and promote the portfolio. Create success stories and content.
  • Customer Voice: Understand and drive customer needs and requirements such as new product features, specifications and values to portfolio Product Owner and R&D.
  • Hero: Software enterprise is hard with long customer journeys and multi layered challenges. Help the field teams overcome them by being flexible, consistent, persistent, pragmatic while maintaining composure, positivity, enthusiasm and energy.
  • Catalyst: Work with field team and internal partners to identify new organic and inorganic opportunities. Able to quantify and qualify these macro-opportunities with micro, tangible and monetizable steps.
  • Oracle: Full ownership of the global funnel. Work very closely with field team to maintain the best accuracy, clarify and cleanliness of the opportunities and provide highly trustworthy quarterly forecast.
  • Enabler: Develop, enhance and maintain sales tools such as presentations kits, sales kits to enable more autonomous sales capability. Effectively train and coach the sales teams. Manage discounts and support the general sales operation of the portfolio.

This role is a key leadership position and requires an entrepreneur mindset. You have to set the example for your internal partners to get the confidence they need. Your ability to drive results, enable your channel and gain credibility with CxO, VPs and Directors will be imperative to our success.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience with software business development or sales will be a fantastic bonus.
  • You have superb presentation skills and create beautiful impactful slide decks.
  • Excellent story teller and you listen very well.
  • Customer oriented and passion to focus and drive for results to meet top line numbers, matrices.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork & program management skills to drive resolution on challenges in a cross-functional global organization.
  • Strong verbal & written customer communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Mandarin will be a great bonus.
  • Proven flexibility; ability to deal with ambiguity, take and manage risks, learn quickly and adapt.
  • Less than 20% world-wide travel.
