Job Description

KGSO (Keysight Global Services Organization) manages a portfolio of services to help customers adopt new technologies faster, lower costs and improve outcomes. Technology life cycles are more complex and shorter than ever, customers face aggressive time to market pressures. Investments in test equipment are significant while the business environment is uncertain and constrained, including by limited operational and capital equipment budgets. Finally, the competitive landscape demands higher specialization and customers focus on core competencies. To help meet these challenges, KGSO has opened labs to provide test services in North America and Europe. Services range from High Speed Digital, RF to EMC enabling customers to test their devices for design verification or EMC/EMI compliance.


KGSO is now launching an EMC lab in Penang. We are hiring a business development program manager (BDPM) for Penang lab to serve the Malaysian and nearby markets. In this role the BDPM is a crucial link between the lab operations and the sales organization. The BDPM will also partner with Global Marketing and the relevant Business units to deliver new services and ensure engagement with key customers. Business Development program manager will primarily be responsible for orders and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing growth strategies and plans for EMC business expansion
    • Developing programs for business growth and achieve business objectives.
    • Researching business opportunities and following industry trend locally and internationally
    • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Identifying key accounts, managing and retaining existing customers, increasing new customer base
  • Collaborating with lab manager on statement of work (SOW) and planning on services delivery. Assist in lab performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities (Cont'd)
  • Managing funnel and forecast ; able to articulate order forecast and industry trend
    • Create, monitor and communicate forecast
    • Develop and deploy local marketing programs
    • Coordinate marketing programs (eDMs, events, call out campaigns, industry events, launch events, special promotions etc.)
    • Local Standard bodies/thought leaders event participation
    • Strategic partner relationship management
Key Responsibilities (Cont'd)
  • Partnering with Sales management to develop sales targets.
    • Support Sales with local events and activities
    • Ongoing support of Field sales as well as regional services teams
    • Large Account Management: Contracts, Annual Business Reviews, Deals, Discount, & Customer Relationship Management
    • SOW, Service Agreements support
  • Working closely with practice team to deploy solution, implement best practices and create success story to share across the counterpart and drive businesses to the lab.
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent fields
  • Deep and broad technical understanding of EMC/EMI, high speed digital, RF/microwave/millimeter wave technologies
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to influence results through business partners
  • Proven track record of leadership across multiple organizations in different  geographies
  • Strong business acumen. Experience with managing change throughout an organization.
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints.

  • Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; excellent written communication abilities.
