Keysight is looking to fill contractor positions for those who have a passion for and savvy with the emerging changes in the world of IT. As a support engineer you will be helping Keysight employees in adopting our vastly changing productivity platforms by providing hands-on, face-to-face training and problem solving with everything from iPhones to laptops. This role primarily focuses on software applications and helping users gain knowledge about how to better use our internal resources and platforms including Microsoft Office 365 cloud, Success Factors, ComAround, Concur, Cherwell ITSM, etc. as well as be able to fix issues when things don’t go so smoothly.

Key Responsibilities 
•    Strong people skills and a knack for problem solving.
•    Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
•    Ability to adhere to a schedule of customer appointments.
•    Coach, develop, train and evaluate IT Hub Specialist in customer support and technical skills
•    Track and report KPI’s to management
•    Review and report root cause issues to stakeholders to drive down incidents
•    Identify, develop and source training to increase end-user productivity

Job Qualifications

•    Excellent people skills, able to articulate your knowledge and experience to users for best practices, tips, tricks and insights.
•    Bilingual in Malay/English - proficient oral/written communication skills in English
•    Solid understanding of different hardware and software platforms from Windows, iOS, Android, and Mac OS.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher) on Mobile/PC platforms.
•    Audio visual experience (Bluetooth, audio settings in the operating system, headsets, soft phone services, etc.)
•    Experience with collaboration platforms (Skype for Business, WebEx, Zoom, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, OneDrive etc.)
•    Knowledge and experience using Microsoft and Mac command line interfaces.
•    Understanding of Microsoft ActiveSync and Active Directory Architecture.
•    MDM (mobile Device Management) structure.
•    Conflict management


Additional skills below will be advantage:
•    Previous team lead role providing direction and support
•    Information Technology Certifications or Degree in Computer Science is desired
•    Previous experience with IT Service Management tool for ticket handling
•    You have an aptitude for acquiring skills in technical repairs and an eagerness to learn.
•    You have excellent time management skills and can make decisions quickly.
•    You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs.
•    Active passport for international travel to attend training events.
•    Holds an active passport for international travel or the ability to obtain.
