Short Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a proven technical expert in the Repair & Calibration of Test and Measurement Equipment. This is role for a key individual who will work full time between our facility in Nashua, NH and customer site in Nashua NH, performing calibration on a wide range of manufactures equipment and repairs on Keysight products.
Long Description
Specific duties include:
Be a team member on a highly visible project
Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and Keysight Technologies' test equipment assets
Ensure compatibility between customer expectation and support provided by Keysight Technologies.
Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required
Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on Keysight and non-Keysight products after repairs
Understand, and utilize STE, TME, and PC based software as required
Install software and firmware upgrades that may include re-image of the customer’s instrument
Ability to Perform repairs, on most Keysight products that are critical to customer uptime.
Job Qualifications
This critical role requires the following skills:
Bachelor’s Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience
Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and Keysight to solve complex project objectives.
Must Have knowledge of system level schematics/block diagrams
Experience with NI Lab view a plus
Understanding of equipment software drivers, a plus
Understanding of PXI platform ETE
Customer service-on site with a customer one on one. Face of Keysight. Good communication.
Experience with system level troubleshooting using software tools and documentation
System level support
Experience with cables bundles, connectors, and connector pin replacements/troubleshooting
PC knowledge-operating systems, software knowledge required
Using and understanding custom software-customer created.
Identifying and verifying IP address for test systems
Ability to provide root cause analysis on system level failures
Work on site at customer location with customer interactions in a stressful environment
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
Must be able to pass a Secret Level Security Clearance Screening As part of employment.
Candidates must be in local area (Nashua, NH) or willing to relocate themselves
Must have ability to lift 35 lbs.
