Short Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a proven technical expert in the Repair & Calibration of Test and Measurement Equipment. This is role for a key individual who will work full time between our facility in Nashua, NH and customer site in Nashua NH, performing calibration on a wide range of manufactures equipment and repairs on Keysight products.

Long Description

Specific duties include:

Be the project lead on a highly visible project

Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and Keysight Technologies' test equipment assets

Ensure compatibility between customer expectation and support provided by Keysight Technologies.

Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required

Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on Keysight and non-Keysight products after repairs

Understand, and utilize STE, TME, and PC based software as required

Install software and firmware upgrades that may include re-image of the customer’s instrument

Ability to Perform repairs, on most Keysight products that are critical to customer uptime.

Job Qualifications

This critical role requires the following skills:

Bachelor’s Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience

Minimum of 10 years related experience in Field Customer Support of Test and Measurement instruments.

Understand project timeline, goals and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.

Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and Keysight to solve complex project objectives.

Must be able to initiate innovative field service solution delivery concepts

Be the technical, or business consultant to group and business level managers: possess deep awareness of new technologies/market evolutions

Lead development of high impact and/or long range strategic projects and initiatives.

RF/ Microwave repair and calibration up to 50 GHz is preferred

Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills

Must have calibration and repair service experience of all types of Keysight Test Equipment

Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) a plus.

Must have experience in Test and Measurement industry

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.

Must be able to pass a Secret Level Security Clearance Screening As part of employment.  

Candidates must be in local area (Nashua, NH) or willing to relocate themselves

Must have ability to lift 35 lbs.
