For our R&D center in Milan we are looking for a Junior Technical Writer Engineer who will join our Technical Documentation team. We offer an internship contract, an international team of professionals and development opportunities.

Main activities


The intern will be supported and collaborate with our Technical Documentation team to:

  • Translate complex technical information into comprehensive, accurate, easy to understand professional product documentation.
  • Manage technical documentation according to the Document Development Life Cycle.
  • Attend planning/briefing meetings with R&D, technical support and sales/marketing specialists, with the aim of gathering and analyzing the informational needs of the final user.
  • Work both independently and within a cross-functional team.
  • Test cutting edge hardware and software products.
  • Manage feature/fault tickets via Atlassian Jira tracking tool.
  • Use configuration management tools.
  • Manage cloud/Web based collaboration media such as Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Sharepoint.



Mandatory requirements:

  • University degree (or nearly reached) in Engineering or in a technical/scientific subject.
  • Ability to understand and summarize complex technical specifications, concepts and processes in the HW/SW/Telecommunication fields.
  • Excellent English language skills, with focus on written technical English.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word document editing tool, including advanced functions, such as use of document templates and styles.

Nice-to-Have requirements:

  • Expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Expertise with graphics development tools, such as Visio/Dia.
  • Knowledge of scripting/markup languages, such as Python, XML, YAML aimed at managing API documentation.
