Beyond major accounts, Keysight is strategically engaged on small and medium geographical accounts with a variety of geographically dispersed clients and is looking to support, expand and grow the sales focus across a number of territories and markets in Italy.

In this position you will be the enabler, responsible for implementing the Keysight strategy in Italy and will work closely with the Sales team in Milan and with Business Development to ensure a tight customer engagement model.

 

As Account Manager you will handle the following main tasks:

  • Anticipate customer needs, identify underlying issues and create opportunity by proposing adequate solutions.
  • Drive the sales process, manage opportunities and complex issues that require leadership and coordination with technical staff and other teams. Manage a quota objective with program and forecast updates.
  • Act as a specialist for your accounts and help define the market strategic engagement model.
  • Systematically prospect new potential accounts, visit customers, generate new sales engagements, convert funnel into orders, thereby maximizing Keysight territory coverage and business return.
  • Develop and build long term relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction with Keysight solutions.

 

THIS ROLE IS PREFERABLY BASED IN ROME, with Milan being an alternative location.

Job Qualifications
  • University Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • 8 - 12 years’ experience in sales, preferably in Test and Measurement or related area
  • Proven success in selling complex technical solutions and ability to utilize business expertise in order to identify and pursue opportunities
  • Good understanding of the competitive environment for positioning Keysight’s unique value proposition
  • Native or Bilingual Italian and Fluent English required
  • Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel 50% of your time
  • Passionate about customer engagement and delivering high performance
  • Proven communication skills at local and international level and success in a matrixed environment
  • Self-motivating with high energy, drive, determination and an ability to work independently while maintaining a strong communication path with colleagues and customers
  • Flexible and open-minded personality and comfortable with approaching new situations or new ways of doing things

    The main location for this role is Rome with some initial trainings in our Milan office.
