Job Description

Country Process Managers (CPMs) are critical to the success of the Global Trade&Logistics function. Their scope of responsibilities includes providing import/export control and administration within government rules and regulations and ensuring legal compliance and appropriate licensing for shipments.

Customs
• Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Customs inquiries. Enquiries may be internal from Keysight employees, suppliers and vendors or external from the authorities
• Ensures timely and correct duty payments
• Customs clearance is conducted by Brokers; clarification of HTS codes means working with remote regional Trade classifier. Designs and implements local procedures
• Identifies and implements Duty Reduction Initiatives
• Liaises with worldwide Customs group

Export Controls
• Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Export Control topics (general questions)
• Owner of National as well as US Export Control
• Consultant on Munitions regulations with support from regional Munitions owners
• Generates Export Control Reports for general licenses, if required and sends the file for signature by authorized person
• Applies for IVL (Individual Export License)
• Designs and implements local procedures
• Liaises with worldwide Export Control group

Product regulations
• Basic knowledge of Product Regulations and certifications required – work with remote PRA contact and interface with the local authorities on calibration and certification requirements

Dangerous Goods
• Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Dangerous Goods inquiries with the support from Trade’s worldwide owner and the local source that generates DG declarations
• Designs and implements local procedures
• Liaises with Worldwide Dangerous Goods group

Intrastat Reporting
• Generates/submits reuired Intrastat reports

Logistics
• Manages local logistics services and service providers for cost and service quality

Others
• Supports Business BPO management, providing consulting on carrier selection and supporting the invoice validation process and the BPO yearly planning
• Provides adhoc reports and information on local requirements on worldwide projects implementations impacting country
• Participates in global/regional trade & logistics projects
• Ensure compliance with US and local Export Control requirements

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or other related field or equivalent experience in international Trade
  • Strong working knowledge and solid experience in Logistics, Import/Export or other Trade areas
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to build strong linkages to businesses as well as centralized functions
  • Experience in project / process management crossing functions; Sense of urgency and ability to demonstrate leadership to push work forward to timely completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to communicate effectively cross functions
  • Act as part of a regional/ global Trade&Logistics team
  • Self-motivation, proactive, and innovative. Can be working under high pressure
