Keysight is looking for an experienced, technical, solution-selling professional for the semiconductor market.  This individual will be part of Keysight European Computer and Semiconductor sales team to identify and close sales opportunities at major strategic accounts in France. This job is located in Auvergne-Rhône Alpes region.


This sales professional will be responsible for taking share from competitors, creating new opportunities, managing a growing funnel, developing strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires close teamwork with Sales partners, Applications Engineers, and Business Development Engineers to qualify and prioritize opportunities. 
 

This position is for a highly motivated sales professional with responsibilities for:
•    Exceeding sales metrics by increasing revenue spend for assigned account with Keysight solutions portfolio.
•    Developing and maintaining assigned account plan which outline how sales goals will be met on an ongoing basis.
•    Regularly identifying new opportunities within assigned account and applying the appropriate action and resources to win the business.
•    Building and managing a strong sales funnel that produces consistent growth with a steady flow of sales resulting from it.
•    Driving the sales process, managing opportunities and complex issues that require leadership and coordination with technical staff, divisions and other organizations.
•    Conducting regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to Keysight’s product/service/solutions strategies.
•    Teaming up with Marketing to create demand, through delivery of programs that are designed to promote Keysight’s solutions, software and services.
•    Time and account management process to execute many customer contacts (F2F, phone, web, etc.) on a weekly basis.
•    Able to take ownership of opportunities from conception through order delivery.
•    Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
•    Continuously learning new products, solutions, applications and technologies.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:
  • Anticipate customer needs, investigates underlying causes and identifies short term or long-term solutions; creates and leads business development plans over the short to medium term
  • Manage a quota objective with program and forecast updates
  • Teamwork with other sales partners and Global Account Manager to ensure a successful global sales plan to designated accounts.

  • Ability to engage with customer expertise from Engineering to program and top management
  • Indirect management of Keysight resources to support account plan
  • Understand and drive a semiconductor ecosystem and market drivers / Trends ranging from 5G, mmW, High Speed Digital and Automotive…
  • Strong understanding of Semiconductor value creation stages from Design-R&D to Front-End/Back End including specifics from target applications.
  • Jointly work with other Semiconductor Sales professional and Global Account Managers engagement selection based on Key addressable markets
Job Qualifications
  • This position requires at least 10 years of sales experience with an emphasis on winning competitive sales through exceptional account and time management.
  • Knowledge/background with Semiconductor dedicated Solutions and experience in solutions targeting application such as RF/mmW and High Speed Digital will be an added value.
  • Passion for continuous learning in emerging technologies and professional selling.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers at both engineering and senior management level
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience is beneficial

  • Native or Bilingual French and Fluent English required and nice to have Italian
