Job Description

Keysight Global Services Organization is a growing organization in Japan as well as overall Asia, driving the Service business of Keysight.


This Expert level position focuses at driving KGSO services order in Japan. There is opportunity to expand the role to an Asia Pacific regional one depending on the candidate’s capabilities.


The candidate is expected to develop good expertise and values on KGSO service solutions, e.g. System Calibration, Test Asset Optimization Services.


On the customer perspective, the candidate needs to understand the customer’s needs or pain points and to match with values of KGSO services to address customer’s needs. The candidate represents KGSO to collaborate with Sales team on this perspective.


Thirdly, the candidate needs to collaborate with KGSO Solution Architects to define the service solution to be delivered to customer by developing the statement of work of the service solution. The Business Development candidate represent the customer’s business requirements. Solution Architect is the owner of the statement of work.


The candidate will lead assigned KGSO Service Programs and need to develop into a subject matter expert. A business development plan is expected to be developed by the candidate to drive the service programs and orders.


Business development responsibilities of major account and market segments (e.g. 5G, Automotive and Energy.) will be assigned and a plan is expected to be developed to understand the market situation, identify opportunities and action plan to drive orders.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors or master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent of Engineering or Science disciplines. Typically, 8+ years relevant experience in marketing or business development with Divisions /IST’s or the Field Sales organization.  Understanding on KGSO service solutions is a plus.

  • Strong in business program planning with PDCA.
  • Be able to Identify and prioritize needle-moving market opportunities; develop a plan, then act on implementation to drive for results.
  • Leadership skills to lead and drive program implementation with team members who are not direct-reporting.
  • Action driven and independent and be comfortable as well as having the skills to reports to a remote manager. Local mentoring manager will be assigned to coach the candidate.
  • A strong team player with good people skill. At the same time, self-driven, and be able to work independently.
  • Possesses, or have the potential to quickly learn and develop, service business acumen, be able to obtain business insight and market trend through order/market data analysis.
  • Compelling presentation skill, both internal and in customer engagement.
  • Good data processing skills with Excel and being able to obtain business insight through order/market data will be a good asset.
