Job Description


  • Tests, calibrates/validates electronic or analytical instruments products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy.
  • Solves technical problems required depth of knowledge of calibration, basic metrology principles and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate electronic equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards.
  • Responsible for generating calibration certificates and supporting documents based on recorded measurement results.
  • A demonstrated ability to learn new, emerging technologies.
  • Quickly become proficient in new calibration techniques to support new products and procedures. Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Travel to customer sites and perform calibrations. (<50%)
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.

Job Qualifications


  • Higher education or specialized training/certification for electronics and\or calibration experience. 
  • Prior experience in electronics/metrology preferred.
  • Relevant electronics experience for entry to this level is preferred. 
  • Requires understanding of general and technical aspects of electronics and calibrations.
  • Willing to travel via plane or automobile
  • Based at the Iowa location
