Job Description

Ixia Solutions Group, a Keysight Technologies business provides the industry’s most comprehensive converged IP network validation and network visibility solutions. Equipment manufacturers, service providers, enterprises, and government agencies use Ixia’s solutions to design, verify, and monitor a broad range of wired, Wi-Fi, and 3-5G/LTE equipment and networks. Ixia’s test solutions emulate realistic media-rich traffic and network conditions so that customers can optimize and validate the design, performance, and security of their pre-deployment networks. Ixia’s intelligent network visibility platforms provide clarity into physical and virtual production networks for improved performance, security, resiliency, and application delivery of cloud, data center, and service provider networks.


As our Regional Sales Manager, you will be a key team member on the Ixia META team with a focus on Network Visibility and Network Test Solutions sales. This position will report to an Area Sales Director and be responsible for direct sales as well as working with channel sales partners. 


In this role some of your main tasks are:

- Manage, develop and drive new business within large national and multinational accounts.
- Build a plan to ensure broad penetration into accounts within assigned territory.
- Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment.
- Identify, establish, develop and close business while exceeding sales targets and objectives by developing customer relationships and closing business opportunities within targeted accounts and territory.
- Use available resources to develop effective sales prospecting, meet customers and deliver solution sales presentations to drive compelling differentiated values.
- Research and understand prospects’ business plans (both strategic/business and tactical/technical) and financial resources.
- Lead projects requiring coordination with other teams and organizations.
- Understand prospect’s buying/decision process and business cycles that can affect these processes.
- Maintain high level, executive contact with accounts, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of strategic relationships.
- Provide inputs to product marketing on customer needs, general market trends and issues for partner.
- Develop and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
- Provide presentations to customers addressing business problems and technical issues.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on sales forecasts, and other reports as needed.
- Manage pipeline, meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Work with senior level customer executives.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a skilled influencer able to assess customer needs and facilitate solutions unique to their business. 

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or Business is preferred.

- 8+ years field sales experience in the Cybersecurity and IT technology targeting service providers and large enterprise accounts.

- Strong and excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English and Arabic, to work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholder.

- Preferred experience includes managing and selling direct as well as through indirect sales channels.

- Previous experience selling systems solutions is preferred (ideally network monitoring/ security solutions/ cloud solutions or network test solutions).

- Demonstrated sales account management experience with a track record of exceptional achievement.

- Current experience covering GCC and KSA, Network, IT and cybersecurity markets

Preferred

- Technology sales experience selling into large national and multinational accounts.

- Technical background with strong understanding of networking, datacenter operations within various industries.

- Experience as effective facilitator who understands the complex relationships among various stakeholders in the sales process.

- Experience in a complex sales environment, managing large, visible, demanding customer accounts.

- Knowledge of the enterprise segment, cyber-security, networking and virtualization.

- Knowledge of Testing instruments and Network Visibility platform.
