Job Description

This role requires energy and passion for Aerospace and Defense mission-critical applications for Keysight solutions aimed at Radar & Electronic Warfare (REW) markets. You will be a member of high-performance team of Application Engineers, Software Engineers, Strategic Planners and Business Development Managers focused on our largest and most important A/D customers. You will apply your written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate the value and benefits, as well as technical capabilities of new Keysight products during their private and public introduction phase. The New Product Introductions (NPI) can encompass hardware, software, and combinations thereof.  You will be responsible for leading the NPI marketing processes, developing outbound content for existing solutions and supporting product teams in connecting content with appropriate channels to ensure product launches are carried out effectively with proper integration of marketing programs.


Key measures of your success will be NPI order ramp, lead generation at trade shows, digital metrics, and long-term order growth. You will work to clearly communicate Keysight Solutions (Products, Solution Platforms, and Custom Solutions and Support Capabilities) to our sales force and ultimately customers.


Tactical job duties:

  • Develop marketing collateral such as technical overviews, brochures, videos, application notes, and other supporting content for and Keysight’s YouTube channels that support our strategies for Radar and EW applications.
  • When required for specific NPIs, develop pricing and product structure literature for new products. Assist in configuration guide creation for new products. Note that in some cases, CSG product management may lead these efforts, in which case the ADGS Technical Marketing Engineer will play more of a supporting role.
  • Perform competitive (marketing) analysis and develop summary material in support of field training for specific competitors.  At times, can include a requirement to do the technical assessment of the competitive solution. 
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences and lead overall messaging and demo plans.
  • Support effective training of our sales channel through the creation of timely and relevant internal training material.  Will work with other members of REW to create and will program manage the process, or finalize the content. 
  • Participate in regular R&D project team and checkpoint meetings, and actively contribute to the NPI and marketing launch plan as it is developed, show initiative in taking a leadership role for projects where needed. 
  • Participate in periodic customer visits.

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering field or other STEM degree, Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal. 
  • Demonstrated track record of effective presentations, explanation of complex concepts, and customer facing skills. 
  • Ability to be creative and create new ways to position and brand our solutions. 
  • Experience or desire to work in RF/uW Digital test and measurement market. 
  • Conscious of deadlines and effective time management skills. There are always multiple projects with independent timelines going on.
  • Self-motivated and creative. 
  • Travel / Other: 20% travel 
  • U.S. Citizenship required 


This position will be in person located in either Colorado Springs or Loveland, CO

Colorado Pay Range: $$66,680 - $111,130
