Job Description and responsibilities

 

Put your experience to work as an Application and Technical Support Engineer in the dynamic and challenging environment of Keysight's Technical Support Center located in beautiful Colorado Springs. As a member of a world-class team you will assist Keysight's customers by providing timely and effective technical support towards resolving technical problems of varied scope and complexity. The position requires a strong customer focus, solid communication skills, technical competence, and an ability to adapt to new technologies.  

As a member of our KeysightCare Technical and Application Support team you will be trained to help Keysight's customers select and utilize the right solutions for their electrical and electronics testing needs. Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of multiple customers as they work on the forefront of technology. To stay on top of your career you will be provided access to the breadth of Keysight's electronic measurement equipment, training with our product development teams, and access to the expertise of other engineers across Keysight.

 

You will use a case management system to track your customer interactions, document each case resolution, and ensure customer commitments are satisfied. To provide customers with the best solution you will have access to product documentation along with an ability to collaborate with other experts on your team.

Job Qualifications


Successful candidates will possess most or all of the following skills:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 1-3+ years of applicable experience as a test engineer, design engineer, application engineer  (will consider recent college graduate with applicable studies/internships)
  • Experience using bench top electronic test instruments such as: DC power supplies, function generators, digital multimeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and network analyzers, etc
  • Programming skills that may include .NET, C#, C++, VB, Python, LabView or VEE Pro.
  • Experience and skill in evaluation and troubleshooting of digital and analog components or systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical subjects over the phone and through email.
  • Experience with sales and/or customer service. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and loyalty with customers.
  • Self-motivated to investigate and learn Keysight products and the applications they are used in
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers; experience in technical sales and/or customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in assisting multiple customers every day providing product and application support
  • Spanish communication skills a plus, as we support International customers
  • We are unable to sponsor for a work Visa for this role. Candidates must have the permanent right to work in the US.                                                                                                                                                                             

Position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Colorado Pay Range: $62780-$104,630
