Job Description



  • Travels to local customer locations to do basic  L1 troubleshooting and  resolve Keysight equipment problems  
  • Installs & supports Keysight standard products for customers, on-site.
  • Provides basic repairs and FRU (field replicable unit) replacement on Keysight chassis (hard drives, floppy drive, Mother board, 
  • power supply, fans etc) 
  • Assists customers with reported product failure, taking actions to resolve issues
  • Assists customers with hardware and software upgrades and software licensing 
  • Processes RMAs; provides service according to maintenance contract; transports equipment to and from customer sites, 
  • Keysight office, shipping companies (such as FedEx)
  • Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests
  • Achieves customer satisfaction objectives 
  • Maintains accurate SFDC transactions
  • Adds content to the support knowledge base as needed
  • Local travel required.
  • Some physical requirements to move chassis and equipment.

Job Qualifications



  • Must be currently enrolled in a BA program studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 
  • Hands on experience in coursework
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking technologies
  • Windows/Linux troubleshooting skills 
  • PC hardware troubleshooting skills
