Job Description

The Networks & Data Centers Industry Solutions Marketing team is looking for a high-energy individual as a Sales and Business Development Engineer.
You will be the expert in the network and data center applications. You understand the dynamics in the market and at the customer. And you have insight into your customer problems and add value to their business by representing the entire Keysight portfolio. You develop a strong relationship with customers and expand Keysight's solution footprint by pursuing new business models.

The position is in Greater China.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies for the Keysight portfolio in network and data centers. You can understand and pursue comprehensive end-to-end solutions and develop new data center business opportunities.
Your main objectives can be described as followed:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and business models so that Keysight can add more and higher value to data center customers
• Understand customer's workflow and identify opportunities to increase the wallet share at our key customers
• Interface directly or through sales channel with customers for strategic and future business opportunities (e.g. road-map sharing, future test needs.
• Actively supporting our field force and channel partners in deal closing activities
• Actively engage with solution planning and the standards experts to identify trends/opportunities to anticipate future test needs and product requirements
• Actively engage in cross-organizational programs and activities focused on your region
• Funnel management and forecasting
• Define and drive sales training efforts for Keysight's technical and commercial sales staff (FE, AE, specialists,.) focused on network and data center applications
• Support customer facing activities (trade-shows, seminars)

  • Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured projects
  • Leads the design/ delivery of new programs/ processes/ services; is the key technical contributor
  • Solves complex, high impact program/ process/ project design/ development problems
Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A customer-first and result-oriented mindset with positive sales oriented attitude.
• Demonstrated rapid skill development (on new technologies and markets) and progressively increased responsibility.
• Demonstrated skills to set strategy and lead execution of tactics for customer/market driven deliverables.
• Knowledge of Oscilloscopes, Bit-Error Rate Test solutions, AWGs, Network Analyzer and/or other data center test equipment, high-  speed serial technologies, digital test markets, competitors, and customers.
• Proven sales development experience; field/sales experience is a plus.
• Bachelors in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent. An MBA is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
