Sr Solution/Product Marketing Manager

As industry solution marketing manager for 5G, you are responsible for understanding the company’s key 5G solutions and why those solutions are key to customer success.  For the key market segment assigned, this role is responsible for crafting messaging, creating compelling content, identifying targeted customer delivery methods, and delivering that content via those channels.  The main focus of this role is thought leadership content creation that current and potential customers want to consume.  You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including product management, product marketing, field marketing, and outside analysts to develop thought leadership messaging strategy, positioning, value proposition and competitive differentiation of the company’s solutions. You will conceive, build, and execute marketing programs that measurably grow awareness and lead to development of inquiries and qualified leads.  

 

Responsibilities: 
•    Drive go-to-market plans for targeting solutions with an emphasis industry market trends or customer segment user cases 
•    Establish effective working relationships and align marketing vision with executives in Product Management, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales to develop compelling, creative marketing materials that position company products to market pain points while developing thought leadership in the market.
•    Create compelling assets that integrate tangible proof points, differentiation and business value, enabling sales to confidently articulate and prove the solutions’ value proposition.
•    Create and manage solution content including, but not limited to, website copy, white papers, solution briefs, sales presentations, infographics, bylines, blogs, and videos 
•    Execute ROI-driven solutions marketing plans that identify specific goals for your campaign, specific measurement metrics you intend to deliver, and identifying the tactics you intend to employ to deliver them. 
o    Drive outbound marketing execution to increase awareness and capture names that evolve to qualified lead generation and increase sales pipeline. 
o    Craft customer-benefit oriented, highly-differentiated collateral including, white papers, ROI modeling, blogs and customer testimonials, to be utilized in marketing awareness campaigns and demand generation efforts. 
o    Continuous review, analysis, and report out on measurement metrics and recommend changes based upon results
•    Identify and promote use of campaign material in go-to-market opportunities including digital promotion, advertising promotion, industry events, and press briefings.

Job Qualifications

Required Skills / Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering discipline preferred) or equivalent experience
•    MBA is a plus
•    7+ years of professional marketing experience
•    Excellent writing and content creation skills are required 
o    3+ years of content creation experience (ex. web site copy, articles, white papers, case studies, blogs, etc.) with a passion for writing and storytelling
•    Marketing technology expertise in wireless communications, especially the 5G ecosystem including service providers, network equipment manufacturers and device makers is strongly desired 
•    Marketing knowledge of enterprise, service provider and/or telecom customers
•    Experience working with executive teams and aligning them to strategic objectives
•    Creative thinker and excellent communicator
•    Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and communicate with all levels of an organization
•    Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
•    Proven experience successfully working in cross-functional teams

 

Position can be remote anywhere in the US or Canada
