In Aalborg, Keysight Laboratories, is one of Keysight’s 22 world wide R&D centers. It is the daily work place of ~25 employees representing the Keysight Labs, Internet Infrastructure, Wireless Division and PathWave Acceleration team.

Keysight Labs’ Aalborg team owns the corporate charter of the next breakthrough software for test automation systems, the OpenTAP program (www.opentap.io).

The team is looking for a passionate and experienced team mate who has what it takes to drive visions towards reality and who also enjoys to contribute with excellent coding. 

You are fluent in C# and looking for a high performing and technically strong and dynamic team – we are the inventors of OpenTAP.

  • You probably hold a MSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • You have a strong background of at least 5 years of practical experience in software development, including:
  • Experience in developing and delivering complex software solutions
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented design and coding
  • Fluent in C# and .NET
  • Experience with DevOps technologies (CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
     

Furthermore, we use the below technologies, so experience with them is preferred:

Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Keycloak
ASP.NET / REST
Angular, TypeScript
As we are a truly international site excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential.

 

What are you going to do

As a software staff engineer you will contribute to the development of test automation software controlling a wide range of test equipment and devices such as chips, phones, cars, base stations etc.
You will contribute with new ideas and approaches for testing, implementing, improving, and validating these systems.
We expect some level of remote customer engagement including technical support and issue solving. Your work will include the opportunity of working directly with Keysight colleagues and teams across the globe.
Some of your time will be dedicated to working on open-source software and you get the possibility of having time allocated for working on side projects of your own.
