What are you working on at Keysight?
I have been working on various projects on the framework team related to IxNetwork. I have helped my team in writing automation scripts, finding and verifying bugs, practically configuring different types of protocols, etc.
How does your role at Keysight complement your major and vice versa?
Being from a Computer Science background, I got to know the basic knowledge of Computer networking from my college and realized that this is really interesting. I started exploring more about this domain even before joining Keysight. Hence, it was a really good way of showcasing my skills and learning and working on the same practically.
What do you like best about working with your team?
This is really a tough question to answer as I like everything about my team including the team members, the coordination among all of us, work-friendly culture. Besides that, they always gave me a chance to give my opinions and input in every project, and the "ready to help each other" nature of every team member made me even more fond of my team.
Did you participate in any virtual Keysight social events/activities?
Yes, I would like to mention about one virtual Poster Making Competition held in our organization. This is the one which is my favorite as I am passionate about drawing. As I have learned drawing since childhood, this opportunity gave me a chance to showcase my skills after a very long time.
What’s something you’ve learned while at Keysight?
There are lots of things which I got to learn from this wonderful organization. I never imagined that this would be so beautiful a journey where I could learn so many technologies, implement my learning practically and be a part of many projects. From this organization, I learned to be more dedicated to my work.
If you could give one piece of advice to future interns, what would it be?
Definitely, my first advice to them would be to have a strong passion for learning and exploring new things and always seek help from others whenever needed. Make healthy interactions with everyone in your team.
Describe some of your favorite moments at Keysight.
The times when I was praised by my mentor and manager for my work, my quick learning skills, helping every team member were very encouraging moments for me. I can proudly say this happened many times in my internship journey.
What will you take from your experience with Keysight into your future endeavors?
From my experience in Keysight, I would take many skills which I got to develop here from my very good team, mentor, and manager. I would also take the work friendliness within me everywhere in the future.
What has surprised you most about interning at Keysight?
Being the first from my batch to get a chance of internship from such a wonderful company was itself the first very big surprise for me. Also, in my internship journey, getting the chance to work in all such domains which I am fond of was again another surprise for me.
