Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day Helps Shape Lives

Jennifer has attended Keysight’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day for several years.  Here’s what she has to say about how the event has inspired and supported her career goals.

“Thank you so much for putting on such an amazing program that has been so influential in my life. I'm a senior in high school and I've been attending Introduce a Girl to Engineering every year since 4th grade. This program is what got me interested in engineering when I was younger. From listening to guest speakers to participating in competitions, this event has inspired me to pursue a career that I am very excited about. Featuring the Introduce a Girl to Engineering program on my college application helped me get into UC Berkeley, the college I will be attending in the fall where I plan on pursuing a double major with physics and astrophysics and then a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. This program has had such an influential role in my life and I'm sure in the lives of the other girls that are given the opportunity to participate in it. I hope to hear back from you in the future as your program continues to excite and inspire the next generations of potential female engineers.”

Mentoring

Keysight’s mentoring program focuses the passion and potential of our employees by strengthening their connection to their organization, business and team and supporting them in delivering business results. The program connects an experienced employee with a new or developing employee with who is committed to learn and gain insight. The mentor works closely with the learner to develop knowledge, capabilities, perspectives and approach to working at Keysight.

Keysight’s mentors provide expertise/insight in specific learning areas, help learners manage their own development and support personal growth.

Rotation Program

The Keysight Communications Solutions Group (CSG) program for new engineering graduates (Bachelor & Master degrees) helps you develop a strong foundation of technical skills on products and applications within CSG, explore various roles within Keysight, and contribute to the growth of Keysight through rotational assignments in our industry solution, product development and marketing teams.

In this two-year program, you’ll work with the latest technologies in a broad range of applications including 5G, satellite signal monitoring, connected cars and more. At the conclusion of the 2-year program, you’ll move into a role that interests you and fulfills a business need.  Learn more
